Why we celebrate Pride, the Trevor Project, T-shirts

As Pride Month kicks off with the start of June 2021, we at Transport Evolved are taking this opportunity to celebrate publicly as a company with our LGBTQ+ community. One of the ways we’ve chosen to do this is by temporarily changing our Transport Evolved logo to one featuring the colors of the Progress flag, which represents the traditional colors of the LGBT Pride flag, but with additional stripes to represent the people in our community who are Trans, Queer, Black, Indigenous and People of Color.

Our other way of celebrating and raising awareness of the needs in the LGBTQ+ community is with brand new shirts we’ve created, available in all sorts of different LGBTQ Pride colors, with an electric vehicle charging connector, of course.. For the month of June 2021, we will be donating the proceeds from these shirts to the Trevor Project.

The Trevor Project is a non-profit foundation dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ youth in crisis and mental health emergencies. You can learn more about this foundation through the link here and read our press release below

Additionally, we will be postingPride Month content celebrating people or accomplishments in the LGBTQ+ community alongside our regularly scheduled programing. What matters though, is that you understand this; we celebrate Pride Month with, well, pride. Many members of the Transport Evolved team belong to the LGBTQ+ community, and this is our month to celebrate who we are, and recognize the ongoing struggle for our places in society. If you don’t like seeing that... that’s okay.  While we have many wonderful viewers and fans who are supportive of us celebrating this month publicly, we know we have a few who are not. If that’s you, we suggest not following our social posts but turning on Youtube notifications so that you won’t miss our videos. We also would like to remind you to kindly keep hateful and rude comments to yourself or we will kick you off our channel.

Well, that’s all we have for you this time. Happy Pride!
