Transport Evolved Donating Merchandise Proceeds to the Trevor Project
Transport Evolved donating Pride shirt proceeds to the Trevor Project in support of LGBTQ+ youth
Hillsborough, OR: In a time when LGBTQ+ communities nationally and globally are facing continued discrimination, whether through hate crimes or in critical legislative decisions, Transport Evolved has chosen to use the month of June 2021, Pride Month, to publicly support and celebrate these communities. We have designed and released shirts featuring electric vehicle charging connectors in various LGBTQ+ flag colors, including the Progress flag, and for the month of June 2021 all proceeds from these shirts will be donated to the Trevor Project foundation.
Founded in 1998, the Trevor Project is a non-profit foundation that, as noted on their website, is “the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning youth.” We are a team of people who belong to, or are in close relationship with, the LGBTQ+ community and have chosen to donate to the Trevor Project because we recognize the necessity for access to mental health services for [LGBTQ+] youth experiencing crises’.
Transport Evolved invites you to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and support the Trevor Project alongside us through the purchase of one of our shirts or through direct donation to the Trevor Project.
